A Darlington web design company that was established a decade ago is looking to expand its workforce to spearhead future growth.

Webahead Internet grew its workforce to 50 from 22 in four years.

During this period, sales grew from £1 million to £2.4 million, with 14,000 registered customers.

General manager Dale Jeffries said: “We have a very loyal and motivated workforce that was eager to get back to the office after the shutdowns.”

He added: “Our success is down to our staff, all of whom have played their part in our enormous growth.

“We have big ambitions to grow further, but we need more numbers to get there, so we’re looking for creative people to help us achieve those goals.”

To complement Webahead Internet, Jeffries launched Mode Media in January, a business arm of Webahead, which targets a different market.

Mode Media provides an agency-style service, creating and designing larger, more personalized websites for clients.

It is led by Business Development Manager Ashleigh Marr.

Jeffries added, “This is an exciting development for the business which has already created new jobs, and we are confident it will grow even more in the years to come.”
